We do every window by hand - no shortcuts. This job was a full residential window cleaning, inside and out. That means every pane got scrubbed with a sleeve applicator and finished with a squeegee, working through each window until there were zero streaks, drips, or missed edges. It sounds simple. The results speak for themselves.

What a lot of people don't realize is how much of a difference the interior glass makes. Exterior dirt is obvious - you can see it from the yard. But the inside surfaces collect just as much buildup over time. Fingerprints, dust film, water spots near the sills. We treated both sides the same way, including the bathroom mirror, which got the full treatment with a wet sleeve and squeegee just like every other piece of glass in the house.

Traditional window cleaning methods work because they give you real control over the glass. A squeegee in the right hands will always outperform a spray bottle and paper towels. We're not rushing through with a pressure washer or a water-fed pole on every job - sometimes the best result comes from slowing down, working the edge detail, and wiping everything clean by hand. That's what this job called for, and that's what we did.

This customer also signed up for a quarterly window maintenance plan after we wrapped up. That's honestly the smarter move for most homeowners. Instead of waiting until the windows get bad enough to be noticeable, you stay on a regular schedule and never deal with heavy buildup again. It's less work overall and the house just always looks good. Worth asking about if you've been thinking about staying on top of it.

The view out the front sliding glass door after we finished - hills, trees, blue sky, crystal clear - that's what clean windows actually do for a home. It's not just about curb appeal. It changes how the whole place feels from the inside too.
