Some roofs are straightforward. This one was not. Super steep pitch, odd angles everywhere, and valleys packed with built-up moss - the kind of job that demands patience and the right approach. We don't cut corners on roofs like this, and honestly, that's exactly what makes them worth doing.
The goat ladder system you see here is what allows us to work safely on steep pitches that most people wouldn't even attempt to walk. It hooks into the shingles and gives solid footing without damaging the roof. Moving it around this particular layout was a challenge in itself - lots of repositioning, lots of careful planning. But that's the job.
Moss in the valleys is the part that really matters. That's where moisture sits the longest, and where moss does the most damage to shingles over time. We worked through every valley and surface section, cleared it all out by hand, and then applied treatment to stop regrowth. Just removing the moss isn't enough - the treatment is what keeps it from coming right back in a few months.
We knocked out the window cleaning and skylights on this one too. Pure water fed pole system reaches up high without ladders against the glass, and leaves zero streaks or residue. The whole house got attention - not just the roof.
Jobs like this one are a good reminder that not every roof is the same. Complex geometry, steep slopes, and heavy moss growth all factor into how the work gets done. If you've got a roof that others have passed on or underquoted, this is the kind of work we're built for.
