One of the biggest concerns homeowners have with permanent lighting is how it looks when it's off. Nobody wants fixtures or bulky tracks that look out of place on their home in the middle of July. That's exactly what we kept in mind on this one.

We ran a combination of black and white tracks across the roofline and along the covered timber-frame entry to match the home's existing trim and color scheme. During the day, it blends right in. The hardware sits tight to the roofline and just disappears into the architecture. You'd barely notice it if you weren't looking for it.

Then the sun goes down. That's where it gets fun. Warm white LEDs trace every ridge and beam of that timber entry perfectly - and the system is fully programmable, so the color and mood can change any time. The blue test shot we grabbed at dusk gives you a good idea of just how much coverage this system has from corner to corner.

That kind of flexibility is what separates a permanent LED installation from traditional holiday lights. No more climbing ladders every November. No more tangled strands in a box somewhere. It's already there, ready to go, and it works year-round for any occasion - not just the holidays.

This home also happened to be the location we used to shoot our upcoming cinematic commercial, which should tell you something about how the finished product turned out. When a home looks this good on camera, it tends to speak for itself.
